Cinematic/Scars Productions

Hey friends,

so I'd say we had a pretty darn good 2011. From a TV show (The Next Reel) to finding work at The Uniter and the U of W's department of Theatre and Film, as well as rocking out a show at the Winnipeg Fringe - oh, and who could forget the multitude of music videos and the captured moments with bands in studio? All that and finding a whack of new collaborators - it's felt good. Check out some great 2011 lists over on Uptown and The Uniter's pages to see what we liked about the year ...

2012 kicks off nicely with my current project, a hand-drawn animated music video for Greg MacPherson's "Party at Greg's" from his latest release, Disintegration Blues. Watch for that sometime in March. A few other projects down the pipe - a video for the Federal Lights song "Carbon" from their forthcoming disc, an animated web series called First Year, and maybe even a musical project or two.

It's just great to be able to work on such great stuff with so many amazing collaborators. I fuckin' love Winnipeg.
